Quant Meetup Shanghai 2026

On May 21, 2026, we hosted our first quant meetup in Shanghai, bringing together the local quant trading community for an evening of networking and panel discussions. We hosted it at our largest venue to date—and still reached capacity.

The night opened with a discussion on the move toward 24-hour U.S. equity trading and what it could unlock for firms outside the U.S. The conversation featured insights from both the sell side and trading venues, with panelists from BofA Securities, Blue Ocean, and NYSE.

The second panel brought together quant PMs from QianXiang Investment and Lingjun Investment, a former Two Sigma senior quant researcher, and the Head of China & Singapore at Nasdaq Data to discuss the structural differences between U.S. and Chinese markets and how those differences shape trading and strategy decisions.
