Introducing new OPRA pricing plans

We’ve launched new subscription plans for our OPRA service.
- The new Standard plan ($199/month) provides a cost-effective option that bridges the gap between usage-based and enterprise pricing.
- Existing Enterprise plans have been renamed to Plus and Unlimited for clarity.
We’ve also added 10 more years of OPRA historical data across our trades, CBBO-1m (minute-level NBBO), OHLCV aggregates, statistics, and instrument definition schemas.
Visit our pricing page to explore the data and features included with each plan. You can also learn more about recent OPRA improvements in our latest announcement.
With this release, usage-based pricing for OPRA live data has been discontinued as of June 3, 2025. These changes build on the improved subscription offerings first announced in January and were made in response to user feedback. You can read more in our blog post here.
We’ve implemented a grandfathering policy to ensure that existing users with active OPRA licenses can continue accessing live data at usage-based rates if they prefer. However, access to usage-based live data will no longer be available if the license is terminated. Legacy users can choose to opt into one of our new subscription plans at any time.
Enterprise and Enterprise Live users have been upgraded to a Plus or Unlimited plan based on their current service level and contacted via email.
Yes. Although we'll no longer support usage-based live data, pay-as-you-go pricing for historical data will remain one of Databento's core features. Usage-based historical data is not being removed.
